The goal was to create refillable ketchup and mustard containers through user centred design, adding both aesthetic and practical value for families with children. The design must clearly communicate the container's contents through form alone.

Design Methodology:

User-Centered Research:
Conducted a 3B Analysis focusing on usage context (dining tables, kitchen counters, refrigerators), user profiles (families with young children, people in their 20s), and usage methods (practical, aesthetically pleasing dispensing of condiments).
Target Audience:
Specifically designed for families with children, young adults in shared living spaces, and individuals who value the aesthetic appeal of packaging.
Concept Testing:
Conducted surveys to gather feedback on the initial bottle designs.
Key questions included first impressions, ability to distinguish between ketchup and mustard bottles based on shape, purchase likelihood, usability, and suggestions for improvement.
Design Specifications:
Bottles must be colorless with forms that clearly indicate the content without relying on text or graphics.
Designed for production using extrusion blow molding for the bottles and injection molding for the caps.
Evaluation Criteria:
Producibility of the bottles and caps.
Clear communication of content through design.
Usability for intended target groups based on user testing and feedback.
